Great episode guys! love the versus episodes.

One thing i was wondering though even though the match up turned out to be a no contest, but for Millennium Falcon Vs. Enterprise, i think this battle/race would actually not have been so one sided depending on which enterprise you choose. for instance the 400+ crew enterprises were probably Enterprise C-E, however if you had chosen say, Enterprise NX-01 or even the previous ship XCV 330 i think the Millennium Falcon would have a better chance and might actually have won that match up.

  2. My initial impression was that the Enterprise in the matchup was the ship from the original series, but then there was talk of Picard, Worf and Geordi being involved which means it could have been the Enterprise-D (or I suppose the Enterprise-E although Worf wasn’t a regular crew member of that ship until Nemesis and even then, I’m hazy on exactly what his involvement in Starfleet was at that point) they were talking about. E-D had over 1,000 people on board, but that included families and non-Starfleet personnel.

Personally, the crew complement really shouldn’t have any bearing on this fight. Unless Han and Chewie (or I suppose Lando and Nien Nunb) somehow get aboard the Enterprise, the fact they’re fighting 400 or 1,000 people makes no difference. It’s ultimately captain and bridge crew versus captain and trusted companion here. Kirk and Spock versus Han and Chewie…I’m going Kirk and Spock. Picard and his bridge crew which includes Data versus Han and Chewie, again, I’m going with the Star Trek side here. Solo versus any of the other Enterprise captains we know about (Pike, Harriman, Garrett, Jellico and Archer), I’m giving the battle to Solo.

The one advantage Han has is his “Han shoots first” mentality. The Trek characters are going to initially look for a peaceful solution, but Han might be able to get some shots in before the shields go up. From a tech standpoint though, the Enterprise gets the Falcon in a tractor beam and it’s over.

And as far as the Worf/Chewbacca battle goes, I’m a little surprised by DiGo’s comments regarding’s Worf’s pansy status. As a fan of DS9, I would have thought he might remember a little episode entitled “By Inferno’s Light” where Worf fought a Jem’Hadar warrior to a standstill. That episode alone is evidence enough that Worf would be the victor in this matchup.

Ultimately, I can’t disagree with your outcome on the Lois v. Lois fight, but I think you put that in there just to hurt me.

Great cast as always. While I missed Downs, I always love to hear from Dury.

Even against the earliest version, I still think the Enterprise is a sure bet to conquer the Falcon. Unless at the time the Enterprise is also being attacked by those sex crazed fuzzy dust bunny things.

  4. QuestionMark says:

I love me the Falcon but, you got to give it to the Enterprise. I think the Enterprise versus a Star Destroyer would be a more even battle.

Now, as for Conan versus He-Man. He-Man might have powers but, Conan is always fighting mystical beasts or wizards, ogres and monsters of a magical nature. If you look back to the original source material, the books. He always takes on something or someone significantly more powerful than he is and wins. That and the fact that he is a stone cold killer would leave He-Manboy crying in the dirt.

Off Topic: Just announced! Micronauts Movie in the works! With JJ Abrams in discussion to helm the project.

  5. I just realized, I don’t believe there are shields on the Falcon which means the Enterprise would have the transporter at their disposal as well. They could then beam Solo and Chewie straight to the brig. End of fight.

  6. Christian says:

Big Q, your Conan Vs. He-Man rationale is spot on. Besides the fact that He-man would start the fight with the intentions of “subduing” Conan passively at first whereas Conan’s kill switch would be in the ON position once that bell rung.

  7. Michael says:

Hey CT…I know I was a bit harsh on ol’ Worf and I do remember him fondly from episodes of (my fav ST series) DS9. However, I think the Star Wars fanboy in me just can’t see past the sheer brute awesomeness of Chewbaca. Starfleet/Klingon training or not, Worf just ain’t animal enough to take out Chewie in my eyes.

But perhaps I am bias. I guess Chewie is MY Terri Hatcher. ;)

  8. Fair enough, but for the record, my Teri Hatcher is prettier than yours.
